Corinthians confirm XI to face Fluminense at the Maracanã | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians have named their starting XI for Wednesday’s Campeonato Brasileiro round nine trip to Fluminense, kick-off 21:30 at the Maracanã.

The XI is: Kauê, Matheuzinho, Gabriel Paulista, Gustavo Henrique, Matheus Bidu, Allan, André Luiz, Charles, Breno Bidon, Rodrigo Garro, Yuri Alberto.

On the bench for Dorival Júnior are Felipe Longo, João Pedro Tchoca, André Ramalho, Vitinho, Pedro Raul, Pedro Milans, Matheus Pereira, Angileri, Kayke, Labyad, Dieguinho and Lingard, who is included for the first time.

Fluminense, coached by Luís Zubeldía, start with Fábio, Samuel Xavier, Jemmes, Freytes, Renê, Martinelli, Hércules, Lucho Acosta, Savarino, Kevin Serna and John Kennedy.

Corinthians have several absences. Memphis Depay has a strain in the front of the right thigh, Gui Negão a grade 2 injury to the back of the right thigh, and Kaio César perifibrotic inflammation in the area affected in the right posterior thigh muscle. Left-back Hugo Farias remains out after surgery on the lateral meniscus in his right knee.

Dorival is also without goalkeeper Hugo Souza and midfielder André Carrillo, who were with Brazil and Peru during the Fifa window. Raniele serves an automatic suspension after collecting three yellow cards.

The team are seeking to end a seven-match winless run this season. Corinthians sit 11th on 10 points, with Fluminense fourth on 16.
