Corinthians’ Conselho Deliberativo meets at Parque São Jorge on Monday to vote on statute reform proposals ahead of a members’ General Assembly. According to Meu Timao, the outcome will decide what goes to a members’ ballot.

Published in late October 2025, the draft has stirred debate. Gaviões da Fiel protested and submitted ideas in 2024, while Coletivo Voz Corinthiana pushed for more say for non-members.

The Statute Reform Commission comprises Dalton Gioia, Claudia Carlos de Oliveira and councillors Corinto Baldoino Parreira e Costa, Edson Aparecido Geanelli and Gerson Leme, all nominated by CD president Romeu Tuma Júnior.

A Council vote set for 24 October 2025 was postponed after councillors said they lacked prior access to documents. Eleven themed meetings followed between late 2025 and early 2026.

Monday’s session is first called for 18:00. If a quorum of half of all councillors plus one is reached, debates begin immediately. Failing that, a second call at 19:00 allows proceedings with any number present.

Romeu Tuma Júnior said votes for and against would be made public to supporters. He added the process would be transparent, with individual vote records kept even in any acclamation ballots.

After the vote, the Commission will incorporate approved changes and send a consolidated text to the General Assembly, planned for early April. Eligible members, over 18 with more than five years’ membership and fees up to date, will cast yes or no votes on each section. Approved changes take immediate effect at Corinthians.
