According to Meu Timao, Corinthians striker Gui Negão has been named among the leading Under-20 centre-forwards outside the five major leagues by the CIES Football Observatory.
The 19-year-old is ranked fifth, behind Jacob Ambaek of Brondby, Julian Hall of New York Red Bull, Viktor Dadason of Copenhagen and Michael Noonan of Shamrock Rovers.
CIES values him at 9 million euros, about R$ 52.7 million, based on minutes and match level over the past year. In valuation he trails only Ambaek, Hall, Dadason and Luca Meirelles of Shakhtar Donetsk, all above 14 million euros.
He joined the Corinthians first team in July 2025 under Dorival Júnior. He has 36 senior appearances, with 16 wins, five draws and 15 losses, plus six goals and two assists.
Since Fernando Diniz arrived he has yet to feature for the seniors, so he played both Under-20 quarter-finals against Palmeiras, where Corinthians went out after two defeats.
He was called to the age-group national team in March but sustained a thigh strain in training. In last Sunday’s friendly against Cascavel, he was an unused substitute.
In June the club rejected a loan with obligation to buy from Erzurumspor FK of Türkiye, and in 2024 turned down a 14 million euro offer, about R$ 88.7 million then, from Montpellier during the tenure of ousted president Augusto Melo.
He could be an option for Diniz on Thursday against Remo at 19:30 at Neo Química Arena, in the 19th round of the Brasileirão.
