Corinthians can still add players who featured in state championships until 27 March, under a domestic exception, after Brazil's first transfer window closed on Tuesday.

According to Meu Timao, the special period runs from four March to 27 March and applies only to internal deals. It has been used in previous seasons.

To be eligible, players must prove they appeared in a state competition, for example via a match report. The rule also covers those returning from loans, and cases such as goalkeeper Neto, who interests Corinthians after playing the Campeonato Carioca for Botafogo, fit the criteria.

Brazil has used FIFA-aligned transfer windows since 2022, covering clubs in the Séries A, B and C of the Campeonato Brasileiro. In 2026 the second window is scheduled for 20 July to 11 September.

The women's game follows the same structure. The first window runs from 19 January to 17 March, with an additional domestic-only spell from 18 March to 24 April, and the second window mirrors the men's dates.

Outgoings appear less likely right now because Europe is largely closed, with only Ukraine, Sweden and Norway still open. Beyond Europe, the United States, Japan and South Korea are the most relevant active markets, while most others are minor.
