Corinthians had a busy Friday, with interest in Zakaria Labyad, injuries to Hugo Farias and Kaio César, and early shirt-sponsorship talks with PicPay, according to Meu Timao.

Hugo Farias suffered a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee during the win over Capivariano and will undergo surgery in the coming days.

Kaio César has a right hamstring problem and has begun treatment with the club’s physiotherapy staff.

The club have an interest in signing Moroccan midfielder Zakaria Labyad, 32, who has been without a club since leaving Dalian Yingbo in China at the end of the 2025 season.

Off the pitch, the club opened talks last week with bank PicPay over a shirt sponsorship. Discussions are at an early, embryonic stage, with financial terms and contract length still under debate.
