Corinthians will keep Pedro Raul in their squad for the Conmebol Libertadores, finalising the group for the competition’s group stage.
According to Globo.com, the decision was taken on Friday afternoon, and ongoing talks on arrivals and departures were ended.
In recent days the club discussed a loan with Botafogo that would have swapped the centre-forward for Arthur Cabral, but negotiations stalled over finances and Corinthians ended the talks.
Remo and Vitória also made enquiries for Pedro Raul, said president Osmar Stabile earlier this week during the presidential election of the Federação Paulista de Futebol.
Top scorer for Ceará last year, he has struggled at Corinthians this season. He has featured in 12 matches as a late substitute, often when chasing the game.
The number 18 has logged 338 minutes, with one assist and no goals in 2026. He is third choice in attack, behind Yuri Alberto and Gui Negão.
Despite the dip, he will be registered for the Libertadores, which starts on nine April for the Parque São Jorge club.
