Corinthians resumed their mid-season programme on Monday at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava. Centre-back Renato, 21, returned from holiday and will train away from the main group.
According to Meu Timao, he is not in Fernando Diniz's plans. He is contracted until 31 July 2027 and the club are open to a loan or sale.
A domestic window runs from 9 to 17 July. A second runs from 20 July to 11 September under CBF's RGR.
Renato arrived in August 2019 for the under-15s, then moved to the under-17s in 2020, playing 33 times, scoring two and winning the 2021 Paulista.
He later stepped up to the under-20s and became a regular, partnering João Pedro Tchoca as Corinthians won the 2024 Copinha. He has been listed with the seniors since 2023 but is yet to debut.
In 2025 he expected chances in the Paulistão under Ramón Díaz but did not play. He slipped down the order, even behind 16-year-old Guilherme Gama, and the club pursued a loan, aiming to mirror João Pedro Tchoca's 2024 stint at Ceará.
He joined Atlético-GO in April 2025 until season's end, yet was named only once in Série B in November.
Back at Parque São Jorge in January, he was not used by Dorival Júnior and was separated while the club waited for offers that did not come. Under Diniz nothing has changed and he has not been reintegrated, with the coming windows seen as a chance to move.
