Corinthians learn quarter-final rivals in Copa do Brasil Feminina

On the morning of this Friday, 19, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) drew the matches for the Women's Brazilian Cup, which is in its quarterfinals stage. And Corinthians, who reached this stage after overcoming Cruzeiro and Juventude in the third round and round of 16, respectively, will now face São Paulo in search of a place in the competition's semifinals.

It is worth remembering that, as in the previous stages, there was no direction in the draw, with all eight teams present being able to face each other freely. In addition, the draw also took the opportunity to select the match venues, with the Brabas playing away from home against their rivals.

The teams have already faced each other 29 times in history, with 15 victories for the black and white, five draws and nine defeats, and with the Alvinegro scoring 49 goals and suffering 41 in total. This record does not include friendlies and training matches and covers, in total, five title disputes, four won by Corinthians (2019, 2021 and 2023 São Paulo Championship and 2024 Brazilian Championship) and one by the rivals (2025 Brazilian Supercup).

This is the 11th edition of the Women's Brazilian Cup, which was contested between 2007 and 2016 and had the participation of Corinthians twice. In 2008, the team fell in the round of 16 to Saad-SP. In 2016, the Brabas were champions, in what was the first title of the current era of the sport, started that year in partnership with Osasco Audax.
