A group of Corinthians members asked president Osmar Stabile on Monday to file a police report after a leak of Ticketmaster’s proposal covering the Fiel Torcedor scheme, ticketing and facial biometrics at Neo Química Arena.
According to Meu Timao, the request was emailed to Stabile, copied to the Conselho Deliberativo (CD), Comissão de Ética e Disciplina (CE) and internal legal, technology, compliance and data-protection teams. It was signed by Cyrillo Cavalheiro Neto, Felipe José Mendes da Silva and Marcelo Kahn Mandel, who want police involved.
The document says disclosure of ostensibly confidential data shows an internal security failure and a governance breach, and signals an administrative breakdown. It warns the episode could harm future negotiations and inflict serious financial and reputational damage.
It adds the act could amount to Violação de Segredo Profissional under article 154 of the Brazilian Penal Code, punishable by detention of three months to one year, or a fine.
The notice cautions Stabile that a lack of diligence in investigating and protecting the club’s interests could expose him to personal liability, citing article 112 of the Corinthians statute.
The group says urgency grew after media reported on Sunday that Corinthians and Ticketmaster sought to resume talks despite the leak. They set a deadline of 18h on Tuesday for action by the Polícia Civil or Ministério Público de São Paulo (MP-SP), otherwise they will contact authorities themselves and start other internal and external steps.
