Coletivo Família Corinthians, a group of 217 club members, has formally asked president Osmar Stabile to terminate, for cause, the contract with REAG/Arandu Investimentos, which manages the Fundo da Arena and has run Neo Química Arena since 2022. According to Meu Timao, the request was also sent to the Conselho Deliberativo and the club’s finance and legal departments, and calls for a Special Committee of members to monitor investigations by the Ministério Público de São Paulo (MP-SP) and the Polícia Federal.

The submission cites media fallout and the formal opening of probes as grounds. Invoking the Lei Pelé and the Lei de Responsabilidade Fiscal do Esporte (Profut), the members argue for termination for cause, saying REAG/Arandu’s continued role conflicts with governance, transparency and diligence standards required of sporting entities.

They contend that being under MP-SP and Polícia Federal investigation for crimes tied to financial flows undermines institutional trust and risks the integrity of Neo Química Arena’s resource administration. The document also cites the Civil Code, arguing contracts require good faith, social function and legitimate trust, and that a breach of the objective basis and duty of loyalty would allow resolution even if events are external to Corinthians.

Operação Carbono Oculto was launched in August 2025 by Gaeco, with support from Receita Federal do Brasil and the Polícia Federal, and REAG/Arandu became one of its targets. The manager joined the stadium’s administration during the 2022 refinancing with Caixa Econômica Federal under Duilio Monteiro Alves, when there was no investigation into the company.

REAG Investimentos is being probed over alleged involvement in a laundering scheme linked to the PCC in the fuel sector, with estimated flows above R$ 52 billion, including use of investment funds to conceal assets, and the Banco Master probe forms part of the same investigations. After details of the refinancing drew attention, MP-SP asked the Polícia Federal to examine possible irregularities involving the company. Corinthians have sought since October 2025 to remove the manager, but any replacement requires Caixa approval.
