Corinthians name starting XI for Copa do Brasil opener away to Atlético-MG

Corinthians visits Atlético-MG on Friday night (13th), at 9:00 PM (Brasília time), at Arena MRV, for the first round of the 2026 Brazilian Women's Championship. It’s worth remembering that the Brabas are the biggest champions of the national competition, with seven titles won (2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025).

The Alvinegro team comes into this early season after finishing as runners-up in two tournaments: in the Copa das Campeãs, they lost to Arsenal 3-2 in the final during extra time, and in the Brazilian Women's Supercup, where they were defeated 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular time. In three matches so far, they have one win and two draws.

The only absence for the match is goalkeeper Lelê, who is recovering from a head injury suffered in the final of the Women's Supercup last Saturday (7th), against Palmeiras, at Arena Barueri.

Coach Lucas Piccinato selected the following lineup to start the match: Nicole Ramos; Gi Fernandes, Erika, Thais Ferreira, and Tamires; Dayana Rodríguez, Ana Vitória, and Letícia Monteiro; Ivana Fuso, Rhaizza, and Vic Albuquerque. The bench options were: Rillary, Letícia Teles, Tamires, Paola García, Duda Sampaio, Andressa Alves, Jaqueline, Jhonson, Belén Aquino, and Gisela Robledo.

After facing Atlético-MG at Arena MRV, Corinthians will play Fluminense next Friday (20th), at 9:30 PM (Brasília time), at Neo Química Arena. The match will be valid for the second round of the Brazilian Championship.
