Corinthians round-up: SAFiel details plan, Diniz training block, academy clinch international title | OneFootball

Corinthians had a quieter Sunday, featuring fresh detail on the proposed SAF, a focused training block under Fernando Diniz, and an academy trophy abroad.

According to Meu Timao, businessman Carlos Teixeira, a SAFiel partner, outlined several points of the project to turn the Parque São Jorge club into a Sociedade Anônima do Futebol, including the importance of the club opening debate on a recently submitted non-binding proposal.

Diniz’s squad completed day four of their mid-season work at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, concentrating on tactical and technical drills as they prepare for the return of competition.

The academy side beat Los Angeles Galaxy from the United States 5-0 to win the MICFootball Punta Cana International Tournament. They finished with a 100 percent record and did not concede.

The first team continue their inter-season programme while discussions around the SAF proposal move onto the agenda at the club.
