Corinthians signing OitoMeia urges registration to make LNF debut | OneFootball

Corinthians are unsure whether new futsal signing Uhelliton Bonfim de Souza, known as OitoMeia, can face Santo André, with his registration yet to appear on the CBFS Daily Information Bulletin. According to Meu Timao, the winger’s availability for Monday’s LNF fixture remains in doubt.

Posting on Instagram, he joked about constant messages asking when he will debut, and urged the CBFS to complete the process in time to play at 20:00 on Monday at Ginásio Wlamir Marques in the eighth round.

LNF regulations state that any player not published on the BID is ineligible. While his name remains missing, OitoMeia cannot be selected, and if clearance does not arrive before kick-off he will be left out of Fernando Malafaia’s squad.

The match carries weight for Corinthians’ campaign. They sit 13th on four points, one ahead of Marreco, the club that currently opens the relegation zone to the LNF Silver.

The bottom two go down automatically, while 14th contests a play-off with the third-placed side from the second division. Santo André are 14th and, as it stands, would be in that play-off.

If the paperwork still is not finalised, the likelihood is that OitoMeia makes his debut next Saturday at 14:00, away to São Lourenço in Santa Catarina, a single-leg Copa LNF last 16 tie.
