Corinthians have spent just over R$ 171 million in the past two years settling FIFA disputes and domestic claims, yet the club still face multiple transfer sanctions.

According to Meu Timao, cases were brought by Matías Rojas, Santos Laguna, Shakhtar Donetsk and Talleres, tied to Félix Torres, Maycon and Rodrigo Garro. The sums listed were R$ 41.2 million, R$ 41.6 million, R$ 5.4 million and R$ 42.5 million, with the first three costing R$ 92 million including taxes. Only the Santos Laguna row caused a transfer ban, from August 2025 to January this year.

About R$ 42.5 million was paid to Talleres in June after missed instalments from a January 2024 deal worth US$ 3.6 million, then around R$ 18.7 million.

Domestically, a CNRD pact has seen four quarterly payments since January totalling roughly R$ 27.3 million, with a fifth due on Friday 17. It bundles Brazilian claims, led by Cuiabá at about R$ 18 million for Raniele in 2024, with an initial pot near R$ 76 million.

Pedro Raul’s move from Toluca was reset in September 2025 at US$ 5 million for 100 percent of his rights, split into four instalments in 2024 and 2025. Delays lifted that to at least US$ 8 million, roughly R$ 42.8 million now, over nine instalments to 2028, of which about R$ 10 million is already paid.

Since May, FIFA have banned registrations over a late R$ 7.7 million payment to Philadelphia Union for José Martínez, covering the next three windows. On Tuesday, FIFA issued another suspension after a US$ 225,000 disciplinary fine tied to the Martínez, Charles and Talles Magno cases went unpaid.

Separately, CAS ordered more than R$ 6 million to Midtjylland over Charles’s 2024 transfer. In early June, Corinthians were also told to pay US$ 850,000, about R$ 4.2 million then, to New York City FC for Talles Magno’s 2025 loan extension.

Brazil’s window opens on 20 July, and while Corinthians are pursuing loan deals for Arthur Melo and Wesley, they would be unable to register them if completed while sanctions stand.
