Corinthians to face Novorizontino in Paulista semi on 28 February | OneFootball

Corinthians will face Novorizontino in the Paulista semi-final on Saturday 28 February at 20:30 at Estádio Dr. Jorge Ismael de Biasi in Novo Horizonte. The match will be shown on Record, TNT, HBO Max and CazéTV.

According to Meu Timao, the tie will be away as Corinthians are fourth in the aggregated standings after the quarter-finals, pairing them with leaders Novorizontino, who hold home advantage for a place in the final.

On the other side of the bracket, Palmeiras meet São Paulo in a single match on Sunday at 20:30 at Arena Barueri to determine the other finalist.

Under the Paulistão regulations, the semi-finals are single-leg, as in the previous round, with only the final played over two legs, repeating last season’s format. The overall table continues to accrue points during the knockout phase.

Before returning to state duty, Corinthians travel to Minas Gerais to face Cruzeiro on Wednesday at 20:00 in round four of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
