Corinthians will begin their Brasileirão Feminino campaign behind closed doors at Atlético-MG’s Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte on Friday at 21:00.

Atlético-MG said in a statement that the decision relates to the city’s Carnival operations, with around 16 street blocs the same day requiring police, traffic and private security resources.

Corinthians’ first home outing of 2026 is on 20, when they host Fluminense at 21:30 in round two.

The venue has not been confirmed, though the expectation is Neo Química Arena. Fazendinha remains unavailable for night fixtures.

Corinthians head into the opener after two straight runners-up finishes, second to Arsenal in London at the Copa das Campeãs, FIFA’s Club World Cup, then losing to Palmeiras on penalties in the Supercopa do Brasil.
