Corinthians host Grêmio at Fazendinha on Friday in round nine of the Brasileirão Feminino, but will be without attacking midfielder Vic Albuquerque due to load management.
According to Meu Timao, the No 17 had featured in 13 consecutive matches, a run that began under Lucas Piccinato, starting and coming on, so this will be her first absence.
She joins four others in the treatment room. Centre-backs Agustina and Thaís Regina are in physical transition after injuries, Ana Vitória remains under concussion protocol after a head knock during training with the Brazil national team, and Juliana Passari is recovering from a right thigh issue.
Emily Lima’s side are in fine form in the competition, with five straight league wins. Since her arrival, the only defeat came against Palmeiras, 3-2, on 13 March.
After that loss they beat América Mineiro 4-0, Botafogo 3-1, Red Bull Bragantino 5-1, Juventude 1-0 and Ferroviária 3-1.
Corinthians lead the Brasileirão Feminino on 19 points. Palmeiras and São Paulo trail by two, while Grêmio sit 12th.
