Corinthians Women unbeaten at Neo Química, extend Cruzeiro streak

On the morning of this Sunday, the 14th, Corinthians continued its dominance in women's football by winning the seventh title of the Brazilian Championship. In front of a large crowd at the Neo Química Arena, the Brabas defeated Cruzeiro 1-0. Besides lifting another trophy, Timão maintained an impressive unbeaten record at the stadium.

Including this Sunday's match, the Brabas have played 28 games in Itaquera since 2018, with victories in 26 of those occasions and the other two ending in draws, resulting in an impressive 90.4% success rate.

In addition to expanding their impressive home record, the Brabas also maintained their streak against Cruzeiro this season. It was the fifth match between the clubs in 2025 and the third victory for Corinthians, along with two draws. Timão further solidified its role as the nemesis of the Minas Gerais team after eliminating the opponent in the Super Cup and also in the Copa do Brasil.

This was the seventh national title for the Brabas, who had already lifted the trophy in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, further establishing Corinthians as the greatest power in Brazilian women's football.

However, the quest for achievements is not over in 2025. Corinthians still has the Paulista Championship, Libertadores, and Copa do Brasil to compete in, with the latter having a match scheduled for next Wednesday, the 17th, against Juventude. The game will take place at 3 p.m. (Brasília time), at Fazendinha.
