Corinthians women returned to interseason work on Monday morning. They began the second week by sharpening defensive shape and attacking transitions ahead of decisive assignments in the Campeonato Brasileiro, Copa do Brasil, Campeonato Paulista and Libertadores.

According to Meu Timao, the day opened with strength work in the gym, followed by a warm-up on the grass. Coach Emily Lima then led a small-sided session focused on defensive organisation and offensive transitions, with finishing and overlapping drills also included.

There are still absences. Goalkeeper Lelê continues treatment for tendinopathy in the posterior area of her right thigh, while centre-back Agustina, out since the start of the interseason with injury, has begun physical readaptation with the club’s Núcleo de Saúde e Performance after time away from training.

There is better news on two players. Defender Thaís Regina and midfielder Juliana Passari are back from injury and have already featured in friendlies against the United States Under-23s earlier this month.

The Brabas’ next competitive match is on 17 July, at 19:00, when they host Ferroviária at Fazendinha in the Paulista’s fourth round. That gives Emily Lima a little under three weeks to intensify preparations before the second half’s demanding run of fixtures.
