Cremonese boss Davide Nicola spoke to DAZN after his team lost 1-3 to Roma earlier today.
“I’m pleased with the goal in the final minutes. It’s crucial to keep attacking even when you’re mentally down.”
“The boys showed they can play with the right attitude against a great team. We lacked the advantage we deserved, especially at the start. We deserved to lead in the first half. It would have been a different match.”
“Roma won with quality, but Cremonese is showing they play with personality. In some situations, we weren’t aggressive enough. The team is there, and we’re working hard.”
“There were 3-4 situations where we need to improve and find the goal. Scoring makes the difference and directs the game. Basically, Roma had already played like this; Baldanzi doesn’t attack the space, and we needed to be more aggressive in coming out and disrupting the play.”
“Then Soulé and Baldanzi, when they shoot from the edge, put it wherever they want. We gave some opposing players too much space.”
