The defender has been linked with teams in England's first and second tiers.

Cody Drameh has said that he has no plans to leave Hull City amid interest from FA Cup winners Crystal Palace and other Championship clubs.

Hull's right-back has been the subject of plenty of transfer interest this summer, with, most recently, Oliver Glasner's Eagles being linked with the former Leeds man.

According to Pete O'Rourke, Palace joined the race for Drameh after impressing in pre-season. Several Championship sides are also supposedly interested in the 23-year-old, with Blackburn Rovers, Derby County and Preston North End all being named as potential suitors.

Despite the seeming opportunities to move on from the previously relegation-threatened side of last season, Drameh has said that he is committed to remaining at the MKM Stadium. He joined the Tigers as a free agent on a three-year deal last summer and made 28 appearances in the Championship last time out, but primarily on the left side of defence.

He made a good start to the 2025/26 season under new boss Sergej Jakirovic, helping City to an opening day draw away against Coventry City. His relationship with the head coach appears to be a strong one already.

"I've, really, really enjoyed it," Drameh said, via Hull Live. "For me, the gaffer has been super, super chilled, and I'm kind of a bit of a chilled guy, so we have meshed together quite well.

"I really, really like his tactics, his man management as well, so yes, it's been a nice fit, a nice change of pace. It's all about keeping playing, keeping getting by, training, and just listening to the gaffer and just doing the best I can.

"I don't really pay attention too much to the outside noise. I'm just very focused on myself and my football. My future is with Hull City. I've got two years left on my contract, plus a year on the club side, so that's what it is for me.

"I can't really comment on the outside noise because I don't really know what's going on. I'm just trying to play football, trying to play games."

The hamstring injury suffered by Lewie Coyle in pre-season has given Drameh a pretty clear path to a first-team spot this season. It has also left Jakirovic fairly short of options at right-back too, so losing the 23-year-old would've been a big blow to Hull given the amount of time they have left in the window.

Having players of Drameh's versatility will also come in very handy over the course of the season. That ability to operate in multiple positions shouldn't be taken for granted. Had he been keen on a move away from Hull, it could have left them with two spots to cover.
