Crystal Palace will meet AEK Larnaca in the last 16 of the UEFA Conference League after Friday’s draw in Nyon paired the two sides together.
The Eagles have previous history with the Cypriot club in this competition, having suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at Selhurst Park earlier in the campaign - a result that will no doubt add an extra edge to the tie.
Oliver Glasner’s side secured their place in the knockout stage with a 3-1 aggregate victory over Zrinjski Mostar.
If Palace progress from the last 16, they will face either Fiorentina or Raków in the quarter-finals. Should they go a step further and reach the semi-finals, the opposition would be one of Lech Poznan, Shakhtar Donetsk, AZ Alkmaar or Sparta Praha.
Attention now turns to AEK Larnaca, who present another stern test as Palace aim to keep their European adventure alive.
The round-of-16 fixtures are scheduled for March, with the first leg set for Thursday 12 March at Selhurst Park. The return match will take place a week later, on Thursday 19 March, at the AEK Arena.
