Curaçao, El Salvador meet with first place at stake in Women’s U-17 Qualifiers

MIAMI – Round One of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers continues with the fourth set of matches in Groups A and F on Friday.
Group A will feature two first-time encounters in the qualifiers. Group F will feature a match with first place at stake.
Group A
U.S. Virgin Islands vs. Dominica
The U.S. Virgin Islands faces Dominica in Group A at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua.
This will mark the first time the two nations meet in the WU17 qualifiers. The USVI is coming off two defeats, while Dominica fell in its past three matches.
Belize vs. Dominican Republic
Belize will play the Dominican Republic in Group A at Estadio Miguel Chocorrón Buitrago in Managua, Nicaragua.
Belize enters with its first three points following a 3-nil shutout over Dominica. Kiana Lewis bagged a brace in the victory, while Jolene Aranda added the third goal.
The Dominican Republic will look for a win to overtake Nicaragua as Group A leaders. Las Quisqueyanas defeated Dominica 7-nil and the U.S. Virgin Islands 11-nil in its first two fixtures.
Group F
Curaçao vs. El Salvador
Group F action for the day will feature hosts Curaçao against El Salvador at Stadion Rignaal ‘Jean’ Francisca in Willemstad, Curaçao.
The meeting will be the third between the nations in the history of the qualifiers, with El Salvador picking up wins in both previous encounters.
Curaçao is set for its second Round One matchup after earning a point in a 2-2 stalemate against Trinidad and Tobago.
El Salvador will strive for a win to take command of first place in Group F. La Selecta will look to build on an impressive 6-nil win against Barbados in its opening match of the tournament.
