The Toon teenagers, one of 32 sides to enter the prestigious youth competition at the third round stage, will host their Seagulls counterparts on Monday, 9th December at Whitley Park, with kick-off set at 7pm (GMT).
The young Magpies, coached by Chris Moore and James Marwood, will be aiming to win the trophy for a third time in the club's history after tasting success in 1962 before a side including Geordie midfielder Paul Gascoigne, lifted the cup in 1985.
United’s youngsters reached the quarter-finals of the competition in 2021 with a side involving Elliot Anderson and Joe White, beating the likes of Huddersfield Town, Leeds United and Watford, before exiting at the hands of eventual winners Aston Villa at St. James' Park.
Admission for the young Magpies' FA Youth Cup tie against Brighton is £3 for adults and £1 concessions, which also applies to season ticket holders.
