Dayne St. Clair named in Canada squad for 2026 World Cup | OneFootball

According to Inter Miami, Dayne St. Clair has been named in Canada’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, becoming the club’s fourth representative at a World Cup.

The 2025 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year joined ahead of the 2026 campaign and has since established himself as first choice. He has made 16 appearances in all competitions, keeping three clean sheets.

This is his second consecutive World Cup selection after being in the 2022 squad. He debuted for the senior side in June 2021 World Cup qualifying, playing 90 minutes in a 7-0 win over Aruba.

He has 19 caps, with outings at the 2024 Copa América, two Concacaf Gold Cups, and the 2024-25 Concacaf Nations League.

Canada are in Group B with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar, and Switzerland.

Their fixtures are Friday, 12 June at 3 p.m. ET against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Toronto Stadium, Thursday, 18 June at 6 p.m. ET against Qatar at Vancouver Stadium, and Wednesday, 24 June at 3 p.m. ET against Switzerland at Vancouver Stadium.
