Kevin De Bruyne has revealed he is holding talks with new clubs about his future as the midfielder prepares to leave Manchester City.

De Bruyne will depart Manchester City at the end of the campaign after the club opted against renewing his contract.

The 33-year-old will leave as one of the most decorated players in the club’s history. He has won six Premier League titles and the Champions League among his 14 major honours at the Etihad. Individually, he has twice been named PFA Player of the Year during his time with the Citizens.

Clubs in Europe and North America are bidding to sign the Belgian on a free transfer. Italian side Napoli have been heavily linked of late, while there is strong interest from Major League Soccer, with San Diego and Inter Miami reportedly suitors.

De Bruyne has confirmed that he is in discussions with various clubs over his next move and has refused to rule out any possibility. De Bruyne said a move to a Premier League club is possible, with the best interests of his family the priority.

“I’m speaking to clubs about my future, yes. I want to play good football, whatever the decision,” De Bruyne said to Sky Sports.

“Staying in England? It depends who comes… I have a family, kids, I have to take care of a decision that suits everybody. The decision is complex.”
