Daniele De Rossi was officially unveiled as Genoa’s new manager.

The former Giallorossi coach spoke to the media during today’s press conference.

“It’s fate that brought me here. Sometimes there are opportunities you absolutely can’t miss. In the last few weeks, the last few months, I’ve had contact with other teams. For a long time, I found the doors closed, then Roma arrived in January.”

“In the past, there were links, rumors, but nothing ever materialized. Now there’s Genoa, which is a great team. It’s a great honor for me to be here: I’m not lying. I feel honored, excited, and energized. I believe this role should be filled with honor and respect.”
