Manchester United have reportedly made a final decision on Alejandro Garnacho as Fabrizio Romano reveals what could lie next for the player.

The Argentinian youngster was one of the club’s best performers during Erik ten Hag’s stint, but his status drastically changed when Ruben Amorim took over in November.

As evidenced by Garnacho’s omission from the squad against Manchester City in December, the relationship between the two men was frosty from the get-go.

Although the winger managed to sneak his way back to the starting lineup due to a series of injuries, his exclusion from the starting lineup in the Europa League final against Spurs raised many eyebrows.

Garnacho expressed his dissatisfaction after the contest, and Amorim retaliated by excluding him from the squad for the final of the Premier League season.

In the latest video update on his official YouTube channel, Romano confirms that Man United have taken the decision to sell Garnacho this summer on a managerial level. In other words, the hierarchy has sided with Amorim, placing the youngster on the transfer list.

Why the Argentinian could end up staying in the Premier League

The Italian journalist reveals that Ten Hag is keen to reunite with his former pupil at Bayer Leverkusen, but this remains a difficult task for the German club due to the high economic cost of the operation, even though they’re expected to sell Florian Wirtz to Liverpool for circa £115 million.

Romano also reveals that Garnacho has suitors in Serie A, but insists that a Premier League stay could be a plausible scenario, as three English clubs have already enquired about the player.

While the journalist didn’t reveal any names, Chelsea have been repeatedly linked with the Argentina international over the past few months. His agent even made an appearance at Stamford Bridge back in January, and shared the experience with a post on social media.
