Daizen Maeda struck in the 30th minute from outside the box to set Celtic up for a 3-1 win over Falkirk. He later clinched it to finish a decisive, all-action display.
Maeda's opener came from a driving run before he rifled low into the centre from range, handing the Bhoys control.
Just before the interval, he teed up Kieran Tierney with a crisp pass to the left channel (44.), stretching Falkirk and rewarding Celtic's wide rotations.
Late on, he settled the game with a composed right-footed finish from Sebastian Tounekti's cut-back (83.), timing his run to stride through the middle and bury the chance.
He finished with five attempts, three on target, plus three tackles won and five possession regains, a blend of pressing and penetration that kept the Bairns on the back foot.
The Hoops rise from third to second in the Championship group and visit Hibernian next. The Bairns host Motherwell next.
How high would you rate Maeda's performance tonight?
