Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain decided the game in the 15th minute with a left footed finish, as Celtic beat St Mirren 1-0.
Oxlade-Chamberlain drifted into the centre of the box and swept a precise effort into the bottom right corner (15.), turning early territory into a lead the hosts protected.
He continued to knit attacks together before the interval, sliding Benjamin Nygren in for a low strike that was saved (38.). He then won a dangerous free kick high up the pitch to keep the visitors penned back (42.).
He finished with two key passes, five successful final third passes and three touches in the box. He also completed 16 of 17 passes and beat a man once, a tidy link between midfield and the front for the Bhoys.
Against St Mirren's back three, his movement into inside channels repeatedly gave the Hoops an extra option between the lines and sustained pressure around the area.
The display lifts the Bhoys from third to second in the Scottish Premiership. The Hoops face St Mirren again in the Scottish Cup semi finals on 19 April. St Mirren's next fixture is the same tie.
