Bradley Barcola applied a cool chip to decide a tense Ligue 1 trip, as Paris Saint‑Germain beat Auxerre 1-0.
In the fourth minute, Barcola twice burst in behind but was thwarted by Donovan Leon, signalling the winger's direct threat from the outset.
After the restart, he dragged a counter attack effort just wide (52.). He then tried a deft chip that landed on the roof of the net (64.).
His persistence created another opening when he beat Leon to a breaking ball and squared for Desire Doue, who could not convert (77.). He then sealed the game with a composed dink after being released by Ousmane Dembélé (79.).
Barcola finished with five attempts, three on target, and seven touches in the box, plus two possessions won in the attacking third. It was a performance that stretched Auxerre and kept PSG advancing in transition.
The result lifts Paris Saint‑Germain from second to first in Ligue 1. PSG visit Strasbourg next, while Auxerre head to Toulouse.
