Eldor Shomurodov headed in the opener in the fifth minute to launch Başakşehir's 4-0 win over Kasımpaşa. The Uzbekistan international added a late second to reach 20 Süper Lig goals, second in the scoring chart.
He attacked Yusuf Sari's early cross, glancing a header into the bottom corner (5.), and VAR confirmed the goal.
After the restart, Shomurodov burst into space on the left and dragged a right-footer just wide (71.) after Olivier Kemen released him in transition.
He then sealed his display with a second header, meeting Ivan Brnic's centre from a recycled corner to the top right (87.).
Shomurodov finished with three attempts, two on target and both scored, all from inside the box. Constant movement between the posts made the most of Başakşehir's supply from both flanks.
The brace underlines his form ahead of Başakşehir's trip to Fenerbahçe next in the Süper Lig. Kasımpaşa host Kocaelispor next.
