Pierre Kaboré won a penalty in the 83rd minute and later struck in stoppage time as Hearts beat Motherwell 3-1. The substitute flipped the contest with direct running and aerial presence.
Driving into the box, Kaboré drew the foul that led to the decisive spot kick (83.). VAR confirmed the decision, and his burst gave Hearts the platform to take control.
He then sealed it in the second minute of second half stoppage time, arriving on a fast break to slide a left footed finish into the bottom left. The cameo's timing kept Motherwell pinned back when they chased a response.
Kaboré finished with two attempts, one on target, plus three aerial duels won and four possessions regained. He also logged three touches in the box and, crucially, earned the penalty that changed the game. Those numbers underline how the Jambos benefited from his direct runs into the area and willingness to compete in the air.
Introduced late, his straight line runs repeatedly stretched the visitors, allowing Hearts to control the key moments and tilt territory their way.
Next up, Hearts visit Hibernian in the Premiership, while Motherwell travel to Rangers.
