Lewis O'Brien changed it in the 75th minute with a whipped corner that created the go-ahead goal, as Wrexham beat Ipswich Town 5-3.

From that set piece, his delivery was perfect for Callum Doyle to head in, capping a spell where O'Brien had already been knitting play together and pushing Wrexham up the pitch.

He then sliced open the visitors again with a measured through ball (86.), releasing Nathan Broadhead to finish and seal the points.

O'Brien's output underlined his control: two assists, two big chances created, 43 of 48 passes completed and eight successful passes in the final third. The numbers matched the eye test, showing a midfielder dictating where and when Wrexham attacked.

Working from central areas, his set piece quality and tempo management pushed the Tractor Boys deeper, giving Wrexham's forwards cleaner service and keeping the decisive moments in home hands.

Wrexham rise from seventh to sixth in the Championship play-off places and host Portsmouth next. The Tractor Boys visit Watford next.
