Deives moved by first match as Corinthians fan as Super Copa Gramado opener ends 1-1

Deives watched Corinthians open their Super Copa Gramado 2026 campaign against Carlos Barbosa from the stands, his first outing purely as a supporter. The futsal stalwart saw the match finish 1-1.
According to Meu Timao, after 10 seasons on court for the club, the former pivot said the experience felt different and he pledged backing for his old team-mates on social media.
A leading figure in the club’s recent futsal era, Deives played across two spells, in 2015 and 2016 then from 2018 to 2025, collecting 16 trophies. These include the Liga Paulista in 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019, the Supercopa do Brasil in 2019, 2020 and 2021, the Copa do Brasil in 2018 and 2019, the Campeonato Paulista in 2019 and 2022, the Supercopa Paulista in 2019, the Liga Nacional de Futsal in 2016 and 2022, and both the Taça São Paulo and Torneo Mucho Más in 2025.
Across 246 official games he scored 156 goals. In 2025, his final season, he led the team with 25 goals and was second for assists with 24, featuring in 42 of 53 matches.
This pre-season competition in Rio Grande do Sul also carries his name, with the winners receiving the Troféu Deives. Corinthians, runners-up in 2025 after losing to Atlântico Erechim, face Praia Clube on Friday at 21:00 at the Ginásio Perinão.
