Deportivo Madryn have promoted six players from their 2025 Liga de Fútbol del Valle del Chubut Apertura title-winning side to the group preparing for a fifth season in the Primera Nacional from February.

The youngsters joined pre-season with the senior squad on the second of January. All are from Puerto Madryn except one born in Puerto San Julián. According to SuperDepor.com, they aim to learn and earn a chance to debut in Argentina’s second tier.

Centre-forward Aldo Fuentes, born 21 February 2005 in Puerto Madryn, is noted for his physique and aerial ability, and had a brief taste of first-team work in September.

Winger Renzo Sastre finished as the champion side’s leading scorer and was among the Liga del Valle’s top marksmen in 2025.

Left-back Braian Cabral, 19, also from Puerto Madryn, returned to the club last year after youth spells and helped win the local league.

Midfielder Adriano Martínez, who can operate wide, was born on 15 March 2005 in Puerto San Julián, Santa Cruz, and also linked up with the squad in September.

Midfielder Rodrigo Meccia, born in June 2001 in Puerto Madryn, is known for his one-on-one ability, while left-sided centre-back Eduardo Sepúlveda, a fellow Madryn native, turned 20 in September.

The promotions underline a continued focus on development, bringing homegrown players into the demands of the Primera Nacional.
