In Ligue 1 this season, the France international played 22 matches, scoring 7 and supplying 3 assists for PSG, and was voted for by his peers.

He beat Paris team-mates Warren Zaïre-Emery and Joao Neves, with Strasbourg’s Valentin Barco and Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi also shortlisted.

Since William Saliba at OM in 2022, every winner has come from PSG, Nuno Mendes in 2023, Zaïre-Emery in 2024, then Désiré Doué in 2025 and 2026.

The former Rennes player is only the third to claim the award multiple times, after Eden Hazard in 2009 and 2010 and Kylian Mbappé in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
