Despite Bayern’s plain language: Olise rumors continue

The rumors surrounding the possible departure of Michael Olise continue to swirl – but FC Bayern remain adamant, and even a spectacular mega-deal from Madrid doesn’t seem to change that

The Spanish portal Fichajes reports that Real Madrid are working on an unusual transfer model, with the Whites planning to offer around 150 million euros plus attacking player Brahim Diaz to bring Olise to the Bernabéu in the summer

Real go on the offensive – Bayern remain steadfast

The background: Real president Florentino Pérez is a big fan of the Frenchman and is said to be even more determined to push ahead with the transfer after his gala performance in the Champions League quarter-final first leg. Olise impressed across the board in Bayern’s 2-1 win in Madrid and finally played his way into the limelight of Europe’s top clubs

But as spectacular as the rumored offer sounds, the Säbener Straße is unimpressed

Clear stance: Olise is not for sale

Bayern bosses have recently made it clear on several occasions that Olise plays a central role in their plans for the future. Chief Sports Officer Max Eberl made the club’s stance clear: „He has a contract until 2029 – that’s all I need to say.“

There is no exit clause, so the negotiating position lies entirely with the German record champions, which is clear: a sale is out of the question – even for sums far in excess of the original purchase price of around 53 million euros

Particularly in the context of the new transfer strategy, which places greater emphasis on stability and continuity, the departure of a key player like Olise would be difficult to negotiate. The Frenchman is not only a difference-maker in sporting terms, but also a face of the new Bayern generation.
