Rangers boss Danny Rohl has warned his Gers side that a failure to show consistency in results would destroy their good work so far in the Scottish Premiership.
Rohl, who came in as Ibrox boss after Russell Martin was sacked after just 17 games in charge, has improved their form, especially in the Scottish Premiership, helping them climb to third in the table.
The Scottish giants play away at league leaders Hearts on Sunday and a win would take Rohl’s side just six points behind their hosts, with a game in hand.
The Gers earned a hard fought 1-0 victory against Hibernian in their last Scottish Premiership game, which saw long time injury absentee Dujon Sterling come back into the starting lineup.
Sterling credited Rohl for his injury management methods, revealing he has a ‘superb’ relationship with the German boss.

Speaking ahead of clash between Rangers and Hearts, Rohl warned his team that they would destroy all their good work if they do not show consistency in results.
He believes that consistency is the next crucial step for his team, adding that Rangers have done well to earn points even when not performing at their best level.
“We have to make consistently the points otherwise we have destroyed all the good work”, Rohl said during a press conference (3:00).
“I think this is crucial that you continue our way.

“I see the team at the moment is able to get points in this competition.”
Rohl confessed that he feels positive about the current situation of his squad however admitted that nobody will give them flowers if they do not show consistency.
The German acknowledged Rangers have many areas to improve and added that gaining points when not at their best is still a good fundamental to possess.
He revealed that the topic of discussion within the Gers squad after the Hibernian win was the same.
“And from this point we have to work hard, I think nobody will give us a present.
“I am very positive at the minute, how we go, what we can improve.
“This was the topic after the Hibs game that we still have parts where we are not at our best, but even at the moment we take points and I think this is a good fundamental.”
With the upcoming January window, Rangers will look to improve their squad and Rohl has been tipped to be ruthless when it comes to offloading underperforming players.
However, Rangers splashed the cash last summer to back Martin and it is unclear how much financial firepower they will have for the rapidly approaching window, especially if offloading fringe players becomes difficult.
