After drawing against Liverpool, Manchester United got the better of Arsenal in the penalties in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. The recent results must have given a lot of confidence and hope for their upcoming fixtures.

The Red Devils will next lock horns with Southampton in the Premier League at home this weekend. Ruben Amorim’s side are 13th on the points table and need to bring consecutive positive results to climb up the ladder.

Defence

Nobody can forget Altay Bayindir’s heroics but Andre Onana is in line to start between the sticks this time.

Harry Maguire should be fit enough to earn another start in the three-man lineup consisting of Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez. Leny Yoro might have to start from the bench this week too.

Midfield

While Noussair Mazraoui is continuing as the right-back, Diogo Dalot was booked twice and will not be a part of this fixture. His left-back spot could be grabbed by Tyrell Malacia.

Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo have been the ideal midfield duo for Ruben Amorim and the situation remains the same.

Bruno Fernandes will be deployed in the offensive areas once again but Alejandro Garnacho might not be lucky enough this time. Amad Diallo is likely to get the nod ahead of the Argentine to start alongside the skipper.

Rasmus Hojlund leads the attacking pack once again even though Joshua Zirkzee did well against the Gunners. On the other hand, the availability of Marcus Rashford remains under the radar.

Luke Shaw (calf), Mason Mount (thigh), Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans (both unspecified) are confirmed absentees.
