Diego Coppola has joined Paris FC on a permanent deal running to 2031 after last season’s loan. According to L'Équipe, the move was finalised on Thursday.
The Italian defender had joined Brighton last summer and departs after 9 appearances in all competitions, having moved to Paris FC on loan last winter.
Coppola, 22, an Italy international with two caps and a graduate of Hellas Verona, established himself as a pillar of Paris FC’s defence after arriving. He played the entirety of the club’s final 13 Ligue 1 matches.
Sporting director Marco Neppe said recent months underlined Coppola’s qualities and how much he can contribute to the team.
He will now work under a new head coach, with Liam Rosenior replacing Antoine Kombouaré at Paris FC.
