Manchester United will be eyeing back-to-back Premier League wins when they take on Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.

The Bees have an excellent record when facing the Red Devils in London, not losing the last three, and Ruben Amorim’s men will need to be at the top of their game to claim all three points.

Already, the Red Devils will be without Amad, who has suffered a family bereavement, while Noussair Mazraoui has picked up a knock.

Casemiro is suspended for Saturday’s game, and as a result, Amorim has picked Diego Leon as part of the travelling squad according to The Manchester Evening News.

Leon back in the squad

“Diego Leon has been included in Manchester United’s squad to face Brentford. United are travelling down to London on Friday afternoon by train from Stockport Station.”

The young Paraguayan, who made the bench for the Grimsby Town game and the Manchester derby, has had a tough introduction to life since joining in the summer.

He appeared for the U21s against Liverpool and was hooked at half-time, with scouts perplexed by the decision to keep him in Manchester while loaning out Harry Amass.

Diego Leon could depart on loan in January, and it will be intriguing to see if he gets his first team debut before then.

Other notable additions include Tyler Fredricson, whose last appearance came in that EFL Cup defeat against the League Two side.

Two goalies on the bench

Amorim is expected to name two goalkeepers on the bench.

Saturday might be the first team Amorim gets to pick his strongest attacking lineup with Matheus Cunha fit again while Bryan Mbeumo starts back at his former club.

Whether Diogo Dalot starts at right wingback straight after recovering from injury will be interesting to see.

Also intriguing will be the head coach’s midfield selection with Kobbie Mainoo reportedly close to his first start after working with the Portuguese tactician in midweek.

Travelling squad: Goalkeepers: Bayindir, Lammens, Heaton. Defenders: Heaven, Yoro, Leon, De Ligt, Dalot, Maguire, Fredricson, Dorgu, Shaw. Midfielders: Ugarte, Fernandes, Mount, Mainoo. Attackers: Cunha, Zirkzee, Sesko, Mbeumo.
