Digne and Olise marked down as Rabiot and Upamecano stand out in fans’ France-Spain ratings

Spain beat France 2-0 in the World Cup semi-finals on Tuesday, prompting stark reader ratings, with Adrien Rabiot named the French man of the match despite going off at half-time.
According to L'Équipe, more than 53,000 voters produced a team average of 3.2, and only Adrien Rabiot and Dayot Upamecano reached five, each at 5.3.
Mike Maignan was given 4.5, with Jules Koundé on 3.9 and Maxence Lacroix also on 4.5. Lucas Digne conceded a first-half penalty and, after a shaky display, went off on 72 minutes as the lowest rated at 2.7.
In midfield, beyond Rabiot, Manu Koné scored 4.5 and Aurélien Tchouaméni 3.8, unable to turn the tide. Playmaker Michael Olise received his lowest mark of the tournament, 2.7.
Up front, Bradley Barcola led the line in the ratings with 3.9, level with captain Kylian Mbappé. Ousmane Dembélé registered the third-worst score, 3.2.
