Dortmund duo to leave for free in 2027?

Marcel Sabitzer and Ramy Bensebaini could both leave Borussia Dortmund as free agents in the summer of 2027.

According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Dortmund are not planning to extend the contracts of the duo, which are set to expire next summer.

Meanwhile, neither Sabitzer nor Bensebaini are said to be considering a move this summer and are expected to remain important squad members, just as they were during the 2025/26 campaign.

Bensebaini joined Dortmund on a free transfer from Borussia Mönchengladbach three years ago, while the club paid €20 million to sign Sabitzer from Bayern Munich in the same year.
