Dortmund turned down a big offer for Guirassy
Borussia Dortmund rejected a major offer for Serhou Guirassy during the last winter transfer window.
The player's agent, Roger Wittmann, explained that a club had offered "a lot of money" without revealing its name. He reached out to Dortmund, but the answer was straightforward: no. The club had no intention of selling their striker mid-season.
Guirassy, 29, has already scored 16 goals in all competitions this season. He is under contract until 2028 and is believed to have a release clause estimated between €60 and €75 million. For Dortmund, it was clear that their top scorer had to stay until the end of the season.
