An update on the wellbeing of two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has been provided online.
This comes after both suffered fitness setbacks during the club’s latest outing.
Real Madrid were of course back in action on Tuesday night, making the trip to north London for a Champions League showdown with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
When all was said and done on an evening to forget for Los Blancos, they found themselves condemned to the wrong side of a 3-0 defeat, with one foot out of Europe as a result.
And as alluded to above, the eventual outcome proved far from the only concern for Carlo Ancelotti’s troops at The Emirates.
In addition, starting full-backs Federico Valverde and David Alaba both picked up injury problems.
In turn, it will no doubt come as a source of relief for those of a Real Madrid persuasion to learn that neither player appears to be facing up to an incoming spell on the sidelines.
As per Blancos insider Guillermo Rai of The Athletic:
‘Alaba and Valverde suffer discomfort. It doesn’t look serious, according to the club. More tests in the coming hours.’
