Juventus coach Thiago Motta seems intent on giving struggling Douglas Luiz his biggest opportunity since joining the club by handing him a start in Saturday’s Derby della Mole against Torino despite recent rumours linking the player with a move to the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest became the latest English side to join the list of teams showing an interest in signing the midfielder, with the Bianconeri reportedly open to letting him go in case of loan offers also including an obligation to buy.

However, Tuttosport reports that Manuel Locatelli’s one-game ban is set to pave the way for the Brazilian’s third start of the season, the last of which came in October before a muscular injury would rule him out for more than one month.
Douglas Luiz is willing to make the most of the opportunity, as he feels he’s had few chances to prove his worth at the Allianz Stadium and doesn’t want to be remembered as a flop in what could be one of his last appearances before leaving the club.

The former Aston Villa midfielder has featured in 13 games across three competitions this season but still has to score his first goal in the Bianconeri shirt.
