How the match went

Even playing away from home, Athletico-PR started the match better, creating the first opportunities. As the first half progressed, Bragantino began to take control of the game.

Then, at 42 minutes, Bragantino opened the scoring. Juninho Capixaba took a free kick from the right side of the attack and found the top corner. Goalkeeper Santos even managed to get a hand on the ball, but couldn’t prevent the first goal for Massa Bruta.
