Leeds United Women return to the Bannister Prentice Stadium for the first time this year as they host Chester-le-Street Ladies on Sunday.
The Whites will be seeking to build on their last victory, a dominant 4-0 win over Chorley Women on the road, and winger Drew Greene is looking forward to the game.
“We’re really looking forward to the game against Chester-le-Street on Sunday," Greene said. "It’ll be nice to get back in to league action and hopefully pick up three points. It will really help us in the league to get going because we’ve missed a few games.
“It’s really important to keep up the momentum, I think it’s been hard with the games being postponed, we’ve not really been able to play consistently. We’ve still been training and working hard over Christmas and this month so we’re ready to make sure that we pick up where we left off and get going again.
“It’ll be really good to be back playing at home. It will be the first one since before Christmas, where we learnt a lot from the loss to West Brom. We have really amazing home support so were really looking forward to seeing and hearing the fans too and it’ll be nice to be back.
“It was a good win away against them last time. Having missed the game I'm looking forward to the chance to play against them this time. We know what Chester-le-Street strengths are and we know how competitive the league is so we will make sure we’re ready and prepared for this weekend after a good week of training.”
