Dean Huijsen has been one of the most talked-about players this season, not only in the Premier League but across the whole of Europe. It was in Italy however, that Huijsen has his footballing education, first in the youth system at Juventus and then on loan at Roma. The Bournemouth defender is reportedly being targeted by multiple big European clubs this summer, with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea all firmly believing that the 20 year old is the long-term solution for their defensive problems. Speaking to gianlucadimarzio.com recently, Huijsen revealed the people he has learnt the most from. “(Massimiliano) Allegri, (Jose) Mourinho and (Daniele) De Rossi are special. Football-wise, I learned a lot from Bremer and (Gianluca) Mancini. (Paulo) Dybala and (Romelu) Lukaku are life teachers”, the Spanish centre-back said. He also spoke about opting to play for Spain over the Netherlands, claiming that even though his parents are Dutch, he himself feels Spanish.
